About ListingLint

A free, private tool that tells you why a product photo would be rejected on Amazon, eBay, or Etsy — before you upload it.

Why it exists

Marketplaces reject product photos for reasons they rarely spell out. A background that looks white to your eye but isn't exactly RGB 255,255,255. An image a few pixels too small for zoom. A product that doesn't fill enough of the frame. A stray watermark or border. The result is a rejected listing, a delayed launch, and no clear explanation of what went wrong.

ListingLint closes that gap. It measures your image against each marketplace's published rules and shows you the exact check that fails — in plain language — so you can fix it in seconds instead of guessing.

How it works

You drop in a photo; ListingLint reads the pixels directly in your browser and runs each rule: dimensions, background colour, how much of the frame the product fills, and heuristics for edge shadows and stray text or borders. Where it can, it fixes problems in one click — snapping a near-white background to pure white, or resizing to the recommended dimensions. Everything happens locally.

Privacy first

Your images never leave your device. There's no upload, no account, and no server that ever sees your photos. That's not a setting you have to turn on — it's how the tool is built. See our privacy policy for the details.

ListingLint is an independent project, supported by advertising so it can stay free to use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Amazon, eBay, or Etsy. The rules it checks are our reading of each marketplace's public policies, which can change — so we show the "verified" date and a link to the official source for every ruleset, and we always recommend confirming against the marketplace directly.
