Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on ListingLint (listing-lint.com). It expands on the cookies section of our privacy policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It can hold a setting or an identifier that is sent back on later requests. "Similar technologies" — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — do comparable things. Cookies can be set by the site you're on ("first-party") or by another service embedded in the page ("third-party").
Cookies the ListingLint tool sets: none
The checker itself does not set any cookies, does not use local storage to track you, and does not fingerprint your device. It has no accounts and no sessions. Your images are processed in your browser and nothing about them is stored. You can use the entire tool with cookies fully disabled and it will work exactly the same.
Advertising cookies (third-party)
ListingLint is free and supported by advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are served, Google and its partners may set and read cookies in your browser to:
- serve and render ads, and remember whether you've already seen a particular ad;
- measure ad performance and detect invalid or fraudulent clicks;
- with your consent where required, show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites (personalised advertising). Without that consent, ads shown are non-personalised and are based only on the current page and coarse signals like approximate location.
These cookies are set by Google's domains, not by ListingLint, and we cannot read them. What Google collects and how it uses it is governed by Google's advertising policies and Google's privacy policy.
Consent
Where required by law (for example in the UK and EEA), Google's consent mechanism asks for your choice about personalised advertising before such cookies are used, and you can change that choice later. If you're in a region without that requirement, you can still opt out using the links below.
How to control cookies
- Personalised ads: manage or turn them off at Google My Ad Center.
- Third-party vendor cookies: opt out at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
- Your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, or browse privately. Blocking cookies on this site will not break the checker.
Analytics
If we use analytics, we use a privacy-respecting, aggregate measure of traffic that does not set advertising cookies or identify individuals. If that ever changes, this page and the privacy policy will be updated first.
Changes
We'll update this page if our use of cookies changes, and revise the "last updated" date above. Questions: [email protected].
