These terms govern your use of ListingLint at listing-lint.com (the "site"), including the product-image checker and the guide articles (together, the "service"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What ListingLint is

ListingLint is a free, browser-based tool that measures a product photo against our reading of Amazon's, eBay's, and Etsy's published image guidelines, plus a set of explanatory guides. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Amazon, eBay, or Etsy. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Guidance only — the marketplace decides

The service is provided for general information. It does not guarantee that a photo will be accepted or that a listing will pass review. Marketplaces run their own checks, apply category-specific rules, and change their policies without notice. A result from ListingLint is our best measurement, not a decision by the marketplace, and it is never a substitute for the marketplace's own current guidelines. Always confirm against the official source before you rely on an outcome.

Your images and content

Images you open in the checker are processed entirely within your browser and are not uploaded to us or to any third party. You keep all rights to your images. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any image you check, and for the content of anything you ultimately publish on a marketplace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse the site's infrastructure, or bypass any technical limits;
• scrape, republish, or resell the guide content wholesale, or present the tool as your own product;
• use automated systems to hammer the site beyond what a normal person would.

Intellectual property

The site's text, design, and code are owned by the ListingLint project and are protected by copyright. You may link to pages freely and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy a guide in full or create a derivative site from this content without permission.

Advertising and third-party links

The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense, and it links to external resources such as marketplace help pages. We don't control ad content or third-party sites and aren't responsible for them. See the privacy policy and cookie policy for how advertising cookies work.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its guidance matches the marketplace rule in force at any given moment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the ListingLint project and the people who run it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost sales, lost listings, suppressed listings, account actions, or costs of reshooting or re-editing, arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
